Commodore’s Message:

Dear Membership,

It is hard to believe that it is 2012 already!  The year 2011 was eventful and filled with both excitement and sadness.  Throughout the year, it was great to see the membership come together and work as a team.  We should count our blessings every day and be thankful for the friendships and support that is offered by being a member at the Moriches Yacht Club!

The pool renovation is complete and the results are spectacular.  However, the club still needs some TLC which will require everyone to pitch in and do his or her part

I am looking forward to the upcoming year but have mixed feelings about this being my last year as Commodore.  Rest assured, the club will be in good hands for years to come.  We have a great team in place that is ready to take charge.  It has been an honor to serve as Commodore of the Moriches Yacht Club.  Thank you all for giving me the opportunity to fulfill a dream!
