Burgee Exchange with California Yacht Club

I had the privledge to exchange a Moriches Yacht Club burgee with California Yacht Club here in Marina Del Ray. I have attached a photo with the Vice Commodore Bill Moore during this event. I enjoyed lunch and returned Friday night for their Seafood Buffet. Very nice experience.The buffet included crab legs,sushi, oysters, prime rib and choclate fountain for desert and the list goes on.It was awsome. - Arthur Mckeon

Some photos of the yacht club during the Oct 28th storm. Tides were 3' to 4' above normal ,winds gusted to 51mph recorded at my house and 2.20 inches of rain. In the photo is Tom Tebbens and son Tom Jr.

On Saturday April 29th,2006 I had the pleasure to meet with the Gen Manager at the Yacht Club and exchange our Yacht Club burgee. I enjoyed a nice ocean view lunch in the dining room. Please find attached photo of this event.

2006 Mardi Gras at MYC

The Club appeared to be right out of the French Quarter for the February dinner meeting. Gina and John Lindahl hosted the event. On committee were Tony and Regina DiResta, Jim Miller, Kathy and Chris Cuttone, and Terry Seng. Antique Catering catered the dinner. The food was fabulous. Dancing to the music of New Orleans really made you feel as if you were there. At hand were plenty of beads and boas to go around. The Court Jester, Paul O’Kula announced Joe and Sharon Clifford, Art and Suzanne Mc Keon and Regina DiResta and Dan McKeon as members of the Court. It was then announced that John and Gina Lindahl were the King and Queen! The hurricanes were flowing as the snow was blowing. It was wonderful to see the club so lively. Thanks to Gina and John for a memorable evening. Thanks also to Katlyn and John Nelson Lindahl and Carolyn Coffill for helping to decorate the club on Friday night.

Don’t Forget! In order to receive the discount rate, the 1st half Membership dues should be paid by February 28. Please send in the participation checklist as well.
